At Macro, we take time to understand the goals of each property owner’s association, and with direction from their boards, we create a mix of services that protects the owner’s investment whilst maintaining and improving the quality of life at the property.

Our approach takes the form of 6 questions:

  1. What’s the real objective? 
    Every association is different and has specific priorities - we work to reflect that in any management strategy. We start by defining the scope of work, proposed management process and agreed deliverables. Only then can all parties proceed effectively.
  2. Who’s going to do what?
    Effective delivery requires defined roles and responsibilities. Once the overall objectives are defined, we work with the board to determine the level of delegation and authority to ensure an effective management structure.
  3. Are your existing services up to scratch?
    Being your independent advisor, we can tell it like it is. Macro will assess any existing service level agreements, insurance contracts, asset register, general and reserve fund balances, owners’ service charge contributions, health and safety issues, repairs, and reactive and planned maintenance programmes. We make sure you’re getting the best deal.
  4. What does the future hold?
    By sharing your goals with us, Macro can work alongside associations’ boards to develop detailed, year-ahead strategies, keeping owners associations focused with concrete plans for the future whilst we deliver the day-to-day.
  5. Which services should we report on?
    We’re always on your side. Once the best solutions have been identified, we ensure our services are delivered effectively by issuing notices and collecting any outstanding service charges, monitoring the service providers through key performance indicators, scheduled visual inspections and regular report updates. 
  6. How are we doing?
    We keep you in the loop on progress or problems. Regular board meeting updates accompanied with financial and maintenance reports allow each board to make informed decisions and provide timely feedback to Macro.
