Mace Group has established an enviable track record of successful delivery of some of the most complex and challenging programmes and projects in the urban regeneration and housing sector. Our focus is on delivering client objectives and outcomes.
We work extensively for local authorities, urban development companies, urban regeneration companies, non-departmental public bodies, arms length management organisations, registered social landlords and other affordable housing providers, developers and joint venture companies and partnerships. We delivered 10% savings on a major local authority housing improvement programme through integrated procurement, supply chain management and commercial management. These savings were independently assessed by the government's National Change Agent.
In addition to programme and project management we offer full multi-disciplinary services. We provide leading edge solutions for our clients from earliest feasibility and outline business case preparation, to development appraisal, masterplanning, securing funding, design, procurement and construction management. Our unique blend of skills has been developed in the most challenging environments requiring an understanding of political landscapes, sustainable solutions and the ability to manage sensitive stakeholder and community engagement.
Our experience extends from supporting the growth area developments down the Thames Gateway for London, to project managing the delivery of the recently completed housing led mixed-use town centre at Bermondsey Square for Igloo. Elsewhere we have worked with the London Borough of Hackney on the procurement of developer partners and affordable housing providers for Woodberry Down one of the largest estate regeneration projects in the UK, and for a joint venture company between Barratt, Metropolitan Housing Trust and Barnet Council we have provided pre-construction and logistics advice to improve the viability of the £300 million West Hendon regeneration.
In addition we are helping several local authorities to tackle poor housing conditions in some of the most deprived areas of the country through the decent homes and decent places programmes. In areas of low demand and deprivation Mace is working with housing market pathfinders to develop holistic sustainable solutions in areas of market failureto reverse decline. For many of our clients we are actively engaged in the delivery of high quality residential developments of Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 and above.
