Affordable new build in London’s Victoria

Mace was appointed as construction manager on this £36m mixed use scheme for client Land Securities.

As construction manager on Land Securities' £36m Wilton Plaza development, Mace will deliver the scheme in two phases. The first phase involves the demolition of existing buildings and erection of two new buildings which will provide student accommodation comprising 157 student bed spaces and facilities at first to eighth floor level. The two buildings surround a private court yard which will have soft and hard landscaping and provide a number of bicycle spaces.

Phase two comprises two new buildings which will provide 74 affordable residential units, 37 private/market residential units at first to tenth floor level and retail space. This phase will also complete the proposed 61 car parking, bicycle spaces and servicing area at ground floor level. The roof level plant will incorporate solar thermal panels. The scheme will also provide hard and soft landscaping including a play area and public art.
