Metropolitan Police Custody Centre and Patrol Base

In 2008 Mace Plus was appointed for the preconstruction stage to take on the design, cost planning and procurement for the deiivery of the Metropolitan Police Authority's Polar Park project.

The project is part of the strategic Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE), a framework agreement under which Mace Plus is proud to be delivering a wider range of projects.

The Polar Park project is a design and build commission involves the construction of a borough-based custody centre and patrol base for the Metropolitan Police, comprising the conversion of a portal frame industrial warehouse into a modern centre for policing.

Modern methods of construction (MMC) will be employed on this 10,000m2 development, and the goal is that these developments will take the London police service to new levels of delivery excellence.
