Information

Members of the Sense team were responsible for the provision of cost consultancy services on this landmark headquarters development. The new headquarters involved the refurbishment of the 100,000 ft2 listed Post Office building and the construction of two new buildings totalling 725,000 ft2. The main building provides two of the largest dealing floor plates in London measuring some 80,000 ft2 each and capable of accommodating up to 1,400 dealers.

A complete suite of facilities was incorporated including an auditorium, fitness centre, client and staff dining, boardrooms, a main computer room and sub-communications rooms on-floor, and a separate data centre.
Services infrastructure included the provision of six 1.8MVA roof mounted diesel rotary UPS machines, downflow air conditioning to trading floors and VAV air conditioning throughout the remaining areas.
