Information
Mace is the project manager for this mixed use development which is located in a prime location on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. The development consists of a 5 star hotel, office building, convention centre and beach club, all based around a lagoon adjacent to the Gulf. The competition winning design will create an iconic, new Abu Dhabi landmark.
The Lagoon Hotel & Offices project is composed of two parcels:
Parcel 1
- This is comprised of five star hotel (490 keys), whose total size is approximately 60,000 sq.mt, including both public & retail areas and a pod-like sky bar.
- Office building of gross area of 56,000m2; state-of-the-art convention centre which complements the hotel and office towers, of approximately 30,000m2.
- A 10,000sq.mt Lagoon, which is the focal point of the development, and is surrounded by the towers and convention centre.
- The buildings sit on top of a three level basement structure of approximately 103,000 sq.mt that caters for 1,810 car parking spaces and houses MEP plant rooms & services areas.
Parcel 2
- The Beach Club and associated facilities on a reclaimed beach area of 113,000 sq.mt with built up areas of approximately 3,500m2.
The hotel will operate as Conrad Abu Dhabi, under the management of Hilton Hotels, and includes a signature spa run by Spa Chakra. The office building is targeted to host corporate offices of blue chip companies which operate within Abu Dhabi.
