Mace Plus underwent a second surveillance audit by an external BSi auditor and with no non-conformities, the company retains its ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
The two-day audit visit took place on the 29th/30th of January 2009 and is part of an on-going assessment regime. The auditor assessed both the company's high level processes and site operations to ensure the systems and processes comply with the ISO 9001 standard.
The Gresham Street project based in the heart of the City of London was selected for the site visit. This is a prestigious landmark construction project of high specification offices and retail units undertaken for repeat Mace Plus client Standard Life Investments. The project manager Paul Hapczuk, commercial manager Matthew O'Flynn, construction manager Kirk Grant and other team members were vital participants in demonstrating how quality controls on the project are consistent with the Mace Plus procedures.
Mace Plus operations director Neil Scott said: "It is gratifying to have our processes and systems given a clean bill of health and is a testament to everyone's hard work throughout the year"
Mace Plus managing director Mark Castle said: "We are delighted that BSi have endorsed our commitment to quality assured processes. Mace Plus is currently on target to achieve ISO14001 assurance for our environmental system in the summer of this year".
