Mace delivers Dubai's first 'Leed Gold' shopping mall

Mace has been working with client Majid Al Futtaim Properties to deliver the new Mirdiff City Centre shopping mall in Dubai, which has just been awarded the first 'Leed Gold' rating for a shopping mall in the region. Leed Gold is the second-highest rung on the ratings ladder, which measures the environmental friendliness of buildings.
The mall will also set another first by being the first in Dubai to open 100% complete when it opens in 2010. Mace was appointed as project manager on the development that will now join an elite new class of top-rated construction projects in Dubai as a result of the new rating.
