Double win for aviation team

Mace Group's aviation team has handed over control post five, the first fo three to be completed in the current £25m control post roll-out programme. At the cost of £5m, the new facility incorporates the latest technology and its completion will allow the demolition of the existing control post, to free the area for the new Terminal 2 facility.
Director of the aviation sector team Nigel Cole said: "This new control post has set high standards for the future roll-out programme. We have once again demonstrated to BAA that we can deliver safely, to cost and time, and to the required quality."
Furthermore, the team has taken pole position in the Heathrow contractors safety league table for October 2009. This places Mace Group's aviation team at the top of eleven contractors that carry out projects at Heathrow Airport.
Nigel Cole said: "Much hard work has gone into this from all the Mace staff at Heathrow and we are pleased to be in this position. My personal thanks go to all those who have contributed to this achievement."
