Unique Planning Manager opportunity within preconstruction

The Role:

Mace has a market leading preconstruction consultancy that provide clients a suite of programme and project management services. There is an opportunity to join this highly successful team. The Preconstruction Planning Manager will provide a planning support role internally to the project management team but also as a client facing external consultant. This is a key high profile role within the Mace Group which requires good personal and industry knowledge skills as well as technical planning skills. They will be expected to show a high degree of integrity and technical expertise and interpersonal skills, and contribute to the improvement of best practices, processes and project and technical feedback as part of the preconstruction team.

Role:

  • Take a brief from a client / PM
  • Facilitate workshop if required
  • Take the lead in managing the Mace team on a preconstruction commission (if required)
  • Co-ordinate and manage the input of colleagues Manage and deliver external commission to agree time, cost budget and quality identified and agreed with Line Manager
